This is a show I saw a little over a month ago. It was great! I just wanted to share it, I would like to start sharing more art show posts and this is a great one to start with. If you live in Chicago, this gallery consistently has very interesting artists who have perfected their craft.

Conrad Freiburg is no exception, he hid in this shell-like creation that opened up just enough for you to see in if you leaned down. You could barely hear music if you were standing up, but if you bent over, then you could hear him playing ukelele and singing very, very clearly. The shape of the “shell” projected the sound in a way that forced you to lean over and engage.

He also creates these drawing machines that are amazing, the two circular drawings are from a giant, two story drawing machine that took him over a year to design and build. And, he’s a super cool dude.
